Tim Green – The Night Is Blue EP
One of the first times the title track of Tim Green’s new EP in “The Night Is Blue” was heard was a little more than a year ago during his set at Camino Riviera in San Diego. The full EP also includes “Gold Of Gold” and “Jewel”, with each song over eight minutes in length. The enchanting set with organic melodies was recently released on All Day I Dream, the record label founded in 2011 by Lee Burridge.
“I actually started writing ‘The Night is Blue’ on a plane!”, shares Tim Green. “At least its core elements. Like the drums, leads, bassline, etc. I was coming back from Dubai, from playing an All Day I Dream show with Lee Burridge the night before. I absolutely loved Lee’s set so much and the songs he was playing. I got super inspired and spent the whole seven hours writing the song. So it was always intended to be released on All Day I Dream, and feels happily full circle that it’s being released on the label!”
The London native has played at numerous clubs and festivals around the world, including Fabric in London, Amnesia in Ibiza, Watergate in Berlin, Spy Bar in Chicago, Burning Man in Nevada, Mysteryland in Amsterdam, Lightning in a Bottle in California, and Desert Hearts in California.
