Gigantic NGHTMRE – Gigantic NGHTMRE EP
Big Gigantic and NGHTMRE first performed together in 2019 at Ultra Music Festival in Miami. The guys first released “Like That” previously in 2018, and now five years later we have a five track self titled “Gigantic NGHTMRE” EP. Heavy basslines, electrifying saxophone, and drum elements are used throughout the EP released from Gud Vibrations, which was launched by SLANDER and NGHTMRE in 2018.
The EP consists of “Back For More featuring English singer/songwriter Olivia Sebastianelli, Disconnected”, “Twilight (Something’s Here)”, “Never Loved You Like That” featuring Australian band SAFIA, and “Keep The Change”.
Gigantic NGHTMRE will be performing next month at North Coast Music Festival which takes place September 1-3 at SeatGeek Stadium in Illinois.
The Big Gigantic duo, which consists of Dominic Lalli (production and saxophone) and Jeremy Salken (drums), have been behind tracks like “Daily Routine” with GRiZ featuring ProbCause, “Feel The Vibe” with SNAILS featuring Collie Budz, and their fifth album “Brighter Future” from 2016.
Favorites of mine from Los Angeles based Tyler Marenyi include “Shell Shock” with Zomboy featuring Georgia Ku, “Feeling Gud” with SLANDER featuring Matthew Santos, and his remix of “Lost My Mind” by Dillon Francis and Alison Wonderland.
Olivia Sebastianelli of Brighton has previously worked with Famba on “40 Days & 40 Nights“, Sunner James & Ryan Marciano on “Without Ya”, and Andrew Rayel on “Everything Everything”.
Canberra based Ben Woolner (vocals/keys), Michael Bell (drums) and Harry Sayers (guitar/keys), have collaborated with Alison Wonderland on “Take It To Reality” and “Take Me Over” with Peking Duck, and have a cover of “No One Knows” by Queens of the Stone Age as well.
