anamē & Bien – Must Be Dreaming (Original Mix)
Although Marcus Schössow and Thomas Sagstad recently started their anamē project last year, the talented duo already have an album coming out next month called “Beautiful World”. “Must Be Dreaming” with Bien is the third atmospheric and enchanting single from the album set to be released from Anjunabeats, the London based imprint of Above & Beyond which was started in 2000.
Sagstad shares that “There’s something about how Bien writes songs and how they sing which perfectly aligns with how we write and produce. It’s just a natural flow of energy all the time. So it’s never hard to make a song with them. Once they send us something we can feed off, we can have it done in three hours. It’s so instant, so quick, so effortless.”
Above & Beyond recently supported the song on their radio show Group Therapy 540 and 541, where it was chosen as the Push The Button track. Oliver Heldens, Farius, DIM3NSION, 3LAU, and Shane 54 have also supported the tune.
Swedish Marcus Schössow and Norwegian DJ and producer Thomas Sagstad made their debut in April 2022 on a track with Above & Beyond titled “Gratitude” featuring Marty Longstaff, followed by a PM Mix a few months later. They will be performing at Anjunabeats Outdoors 2023 which takes place Saturday August 19 at Echo Mountain in Colorado.
BIEN is a Nashville based indie pop band consisting of singers/songwriters Angela Lauer and Jessie Early with producer Tim Lauer, whose music has been heard in Tiffany & Co., Sephora, Target, Nordstron Rack, and more. They previously collaborated with Marcus Schössow when he was part of gardenstate on “The Best Part”.
