Hardwell & Space 92 – The Abyss (Original Mix)
Dutch artist Hardwell and French DJ and producer Space 92 have linked up for the first time to create a driving peak time techno tune titled “The Abyss”. Just over seven minutes of heavy kicks, acid synths, and a pummeling bassline are used in the song that was released through HILOMATIK, the record label Oliver Heldens launched earlier this year.
“It’s no secret I’m a fan of dirty acid sounds, pulsating basslines, and big rave anthem energy,” says HARDWELL. “I’ve been a fan of Space 92’s music for a while now, and the prospect of combining the elements of trancey techno and distorted percussion he’s expertly nailed in his sound made this collaboration an exciting project.”
Space 92 shares “Hardwell is such an industry titan, so this collaboration was definitely something I was extremely honored and excited to work on! I am proud of what we both achieved, as I think this track reflects both our person alities and signature sounds.”
The tune has seen support from DJs such as Armin van Buuren, Nicky Romero, Afrojack, W&W, Mike Williams, Blasterjaxx, Antoine Delvig, Belocca, Bobina, JES, Mariana Bo, and Moguai.
