1991 – Chant (Original Mix)

Back with another action packed drum and bass tune is 1991 with “Chant”. It’s the first song from the London based DJ and producer in over a year, but there’s no rust showing with its precise percussion and fiery beats. The tune was released on noted record label UKF, which is located in London.

1991 played the tune during his UKF On Air: Brownies & Lemonade x WORSHIP live stream set with Sub Focus, Dimension, and Culture Shock in April. Sub Focus supported it on Sub Culture 003 and Rene LaVice played it on Charlie Tee’s Drum & Bass Show recently.

Freddie Webb won the Best Newcomer award at the 2017 Drum & Bass Awards. He released his debut album titled “Odyssey” in July 2022, with “Guiding Light” and “The People”.
