GRiZ – Ouroboros EP

Earlier this year in June, GRiZ announced he had decided to take some well deserved time off from producing and touring for the foreseeable future. The Detroit native’s “Ouroboros” EP serves as his final release for now, but what a parting gift it is. The eight tracks with a run time of 20 minutes feature spoken word samples along with the bass heavy funk, soul, and signature saxophone playing we’ve all come to love from GRiZ.

The fresh and futuristic EP from Denver based Grant Kwiecinski consists of “Takeover”, “Drop In”, “In This World”, “Fading”, “Falling Flying”, “Funkish”, “Knucklepuck” featuring longtime collaborator ProbCause, and “Better From Here”.

“Life is really good and I often make myself too busy to see where I am or how far this project has come,” GRiZ explained. “I’m following my gut instincts so for now, I’m not going to put a hard time limit on the break.”
