Chase & Status – 2 Ruff, Vol. 1 (Mixtape)
Drum and bass titans Chase & Status played a few of their new tracks from their recent mixtape called “2 Ruff, Vol 1” in their Boiler Room set in London last month. The 10 song set was put out on EMI and includes collaborations with 14 producers and vocalists. Saul Milton (Chase) and Will Kennard (Status), who first started out as a group in 2003, will have you working up a sweat in no time with these tunes!
The collection consists of “Selecta” featuring Stefflon Don, “Liquor & Cigarettes” with Hedex featuring Arrdee, “Baddadan” with Bou featuring IRAH, Flowdan, Trigga, and Takura, “Massive & Crew”, and “Say The Word” featuring Clementine Douglas.
Also included are “On The Block” with Mozey featuring Sav’O and Horrid1, “2 Ruff” featuring Takura, “Get Got”, “Tough Talk” featuring Kwengface, and “20 Man Down” featuring MIST and IRAH.
