Aazar – Nobody ft. C-Mart (Original Mix)
French DJ and producer Aazar has teamed up with Nigerian artist C-Mart on a bouncy bass house track in “Nobody”. The song with crisp percussion and dynamic beats was released through the Paris based record label started in 2015 by Tchami.
“‘Nobody’ is born from a beautiful mistake”, says Aazar. “I met C-Mart a few years ago and we matched immediately! We were thinking of doing an Afrobeat kinda vibe record but without realizing, I sent him the wrong instrumental.
He texted me back “Bro that’s an unexpected sick tune! Let me bring my universe into yours!” I didn’t fully understand what he meant but when I received his first version I realized it was a ‘beautiful mistake.’ We finished the record and agreed that we should defo put it out!”
Early supporters of the tune include DJs such as Don Diablo, Tiesto, Chapter & Verse, and Bingo Players.
In 2019, Paris native Alexis Duvivier launched his Bakery Session concept where the show takes place in an actual bakery, with the most recent edition taking place during Amsterdam Dance Event last month at Rise Bakery in Amsterdam.
Chukwuma Martin Okoye, who is based in Lagos, has released songs such as “Cherie Coco” with Rashmeet Kaur, Gazmawete, and Konstantin, “La Vida Loca” with Sico Vox and Positivv, and “Amaka Fever” featuring Fiokee.
