Palo Canto – West Wind (Original Mix)
Hungarian duo Palo Canto are a new multicultural techno group who recently debuted their first single in “West Wind”. The Budapest based pair say that their“music does not only consist of different mixtures of organic and electric sounds but also hypnotic guitar riffs, warm synths, ancient chants, ecstatic pulses, smooth textures, and powerful rhythmic beats subserving the deepest living of the moment.” The mesmerizing track features a throbbing bassline, hypnotic beats, and chant like vocals from Soma Nóvé.
“Both of us just started listening to more four on the floor type of organic electronic music back in the Covid lockdown era around 2020,” explain Bertalan Toth and Peter Kedves. “We sent some of our favorites tracks back and forth, after the idea just came to my mind why we not try to make music together. We wrote, produced many demos, after a long period, we found our own voice and concept, and decided to West Wind should be the debut song.”
The song was mastered by Grammy nominated Zino Mikorey (who has previously worked with Adriatique, AlunaGeorge, Carl Cox, Fred again.., Maceo Plex, Moby, Porter Robinson, and Tale Of Us), while the music video below was directed by Liza Lukácsi and features the captivating dancing of Zsófia Temesvári.
