2024 New Years Eve Events in Southern California
New Years Eve 2024 is fast approaching and if you’re still trying to figure out your plans, take a look at the list below with events taking place from Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego. Numerous events are taking place at clubs and festivals in Southern California for New Years Eve starting Thursday December 28 through Monday January 1, so be sure to check out what’s going on this weekend as we ring in the New Year!

Time Nightclub, Costa Mesa: Time Nightclub in Costa Mesa will have four days of NYE Weekend performances. Thursday December 28 will see Bear Grillz and Friday December 29 will have MORTEN. JOYRYDE and Habstrakt will perform back to back on Saturday December 30 and deadmau5 will be on the decks on Sunday December 31.
Countdown NYE, NOS Events Center, San Bernardino: Countdown NYE will be taking place Saturday December 30 and Sunday December 31 with a new theme called Attack of the Lazer Rayz. Featuring four stages and over 80 artists over the course of two days, there’s bound to be a set for everyone. The two day festival will take place at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino with stages like The Mothership, The Nebula, Area 51, and Twilight Zone.
Scheduled to perform are the likes of Adam Beyer, Alison Wonderland, Audien, BONNIE X CLYDE, deadmau5, Delta Heavy, FrostTop, Joyryde b2b Habstrakt, Kayzo, Lizzy Jane, Maddy O’Neal, Mary Droppinz, Manila Killa b2b Myrne, Matroda, Nero (DJ Set), NGHTMRE, Nicole Moudaber, Noizu b2b Joshwa, Space Laces, Syence, Synymata, Trivecta, and more!
Forever Midnight , Los Angeles Convention Center, Los Angeles: Insomniac’s newest New Years Eve festival FOrever Midnight will take place Saturday December 30 and Sunday December 31 at the Los Angeles Convention Center on the Forever and Midnight stages.
Scheduled to perform at the likes of FISHER, Green Velvet, Eli Brown, Kyle Walker, Kaskade (Redux), Kevin de Vries, Airrica, Jamie XX, Âme b2b Dixon, Carlita, Eric Prydz, SOFFI TUKKER (DJ Set), Mau P, Cristoph, Solomun, and Jamie Jones b2b The Martinez Brothers.
Exchange, Los Angeles: Exchange in Los Angeles will be having a four day New Years Eve weekend. Above & Beyond will play on Thursday December 28 with Sunryse and Chgris Giuliano in support and ARMNHRM will perform on Friday December 29 with support from DZMA, FIXION, and Hidden Axis. Saturday December 30 will have Cash Cash with Skemaddox, Medii, and Ander Huang, while Sunday December 31 will see Oliver Heldens and Max Low.
Academy, Los Angeles: Academy in Los Angeles also has four days of NYE shows taking place this weekend. Knife Party will start things off on Thursday December 28 followed by Dixon with Heidi Lawden b2b Matt Denuzzo on Friday December 29. Matroda will bring his Terminal Underground showcase on Saturday December 30 with San Pacho, Bruno Furlan, Friendly Fire, and Milan, while Nicky Romero will perform on Sunday December 31 with support from GRLSKOUT and MEIRLIN.
Sound Nightclub, Los Angeles: A three day pass as well as single day tickets are available for Sound Nightclub’s New Years Weekend 2024. Friday December 29 will see Kyle Watson, Bones, and Jonah VII, Saturday December 30 will have Miss Monique and Anakim, and Sunday December 31 has Chris Lorenzo and Monsieur Frazier set to perform.
Avalon, Hollywood: Mat Zo will be performing on Saturday December 30 with Fatum at Avalon in Hollywood, with Markus Schulz playing open to close on Sunday December 31.
Minimal Effort at 1720, Los Angeles: Minimal Effort’s NYE weekend will take place over the course of three days at 1720 in Los Angeles. Friday December 29 will have Enzo Siragusa, Matt Egbert, Adam Rose and Saturday December 30 will see Mark Farina (Mushroom Jazz: Open To Close). Scheduled to play on Sunday December 31 are Jimi Jules, DAVÍ, Cyril Bitar, and HBB.
Compound NYE Techno, Los Angeles: Compound NYE Techno takes place Sunday December 31 at an undisclosed location in Los Angeles (venue details will be emailed to ticket holders before the event). Robert Hood, Adam X, MÆDON (Live), and Andrew S. are set to perform, with visuals by Acid Thermal. The show is presented by Dirty Epic, 6AM Group, Incognito, and Synthetik Minds.
Prohibition NYE, Union Station, Los Angeles: Set to perform at Prohibition NYE at Union Station in Los Angeles presented by KCRW are Chromeo, Nassir Nassirzadeh, and DJ Gadachy.
Bloom, San Diego: Formerly known as Bassmnt, Bloom will be having three days of New Years Eve weekend performances. Eliminate will play on Friday December 29, NIIKO x SWAE on Saturday December 30 as part of their Rule the World Tour, and Giuseppe Ottaviani on Sunday December 31.
LED NYE, The Rady Shell, San Diego: LED NYE will take place at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park in San Diego on Saturday December 30. Scheduled to perform are ZHU, Cloone, Kyle Watson, Biscits, Good Neighbor, and Not Not.
Nova, San Diego: San Diego’s Nova will have Slushii on Thursday December 28 and Patrick Topping with Heminguey on Friday December 29. Slander will be playing on Saturday December 30 with support from Redline and Omas and Dillon Francis will perform on Sunday December 31 with Mattilo Tavatli.
Proper NYE / NYD, Petco Park, San Diego: FNGRS CRSSD presents Proper NYE / NYD will run on Sunday December 31 and Monday January 1. Scheduled to perform are the likes of Anna, Chris Avantgarde, Claude Vonstroke, Duke Dumont, Rebūke, Tchami, Wax Motif, AC Slater, Boris Brejcha, CamelPhat, Chris Lake, Claptone, Eli & Fur, Giolì & Assia, Gorgon City, Nora En Pure, Sonny Fodera, and testpilot.
Spin Nightclub, San Diego: In partnership with FNGRS CRSSD’s Proper NYE / NYD, Spin Nightclub in San Diego will three days of NYE and NYD shows. Saturday December 30 will have Chris Avantgarde, Massano, and Simone Glad while Sunday Decemebr 31 will see Innellea, Miss Monique, and Morriskode. Monday January 21 will have Pan-Pot, Rebūke, and Enter Name.
SET NYE, Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego: Performing at the Museum of Contemporary Art in San Diego on Sunday December 31 are Öona Dahl, Rinzen, and Bass Exotic, presented by Set Underground and Pineapple Live.
Excision presents New Years 2024, Tahoe Blue Event Center, Lake Tahoe: Excision and Bassrush will be hosting a two day New Years 2024 event at the Tahoe Blue Event Center in Lake Tahoe.
In addition to Excision, scheduled to play are Kai Wachi, Dion Timmer b2b Calcium, Infekt, Emorfik, ATLiens, Jessica Audiffred, Layz, and LOUIEJAYXX b2b RZRKT.
