Westend & Max Styler – Rhythm Machine (Original Mix)

On January 17, 2024 by ocedm

Teaming up for the first time are Westend and Max Style on a foot stomping tune called “Rhythm Machine”. An homage to the electro house and fidget house eras, the tune uses a solid bassline and punchy drums with robotic vocals. The tune was put out on Insomniac Records, the Los Angeles based imprint launched by Pasquale Rotella in 2014

“I had sent Max a short idea to get a vibe going and he came back with these incredible vocals,” shares Westend. “From there, we quickly hopped on a few Zoom calls to finish the track. We had to change up the arrangement a few times to get a product that would go off on the dancefloor. We played it out and it sounded great but we both thought, ‘We should switch the kick drum.’ For some reason that little swap brought the track to a whole different level. We can’t help but lose it every time we play it because it sounds so BIG. This track really feels like an ode to the earlier electro/fidget house that got both of us into dance music.”

Supporters of the song include Oliver Heldens, Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, John Summit, Joel Corry, Nicky Romero, CID, Afrojack, Gorgon City, Dom Dolla, Lucas & Steve, MorganJ, ACRAZE, Odd Mob, Ferreck Dawn, Kyle Watson, Leftwing : Kody, Azzecca, Ellis Moss, Miss Dre, TCTS, and VNSSA.

Near the end of 2023, New York City native Tyler Morris played at festivals such as Escape: Halloween, EDSea, EDC Orlando, and Lights All Night.

San Luis Obispo native Max Styler also had a busy end of the year, performing at Tiesto’s Chasing Sunsets, Academy LA, Countdown NYE, and at Brooklyn Steel.
