Above & Beyond – Crazy Love ft. Zoë Johnston (Original Mix)
With a partnership that first began in 2004 with “No One On Earth”, Above & Beyond and Zoë Johnston keep the close relationship going strong with the release of “Crazy Love”. Although the song was just released, it was first played by the guys at their Group Therapy 500 show at Banc of California Stadium in October 2022.
Since then, Above & Beyond have played the track at EDC Las Vegas, EDC Orlando, Red Rocks Amphitheater, Dreamstate San Francisco, Printworks in London, and more. The uplifting and ethereal trance tune was put out on London based Anjunabeats, which Above & Beyond launched in 2000.
Armin van Buuren recently opened up his radio show A State Of Trance 1159 with the song, with further support from Ferry Corsten, Cosmic Gate, Farius, Andrew Rayel, Andrew Bayer, Judge Jules, Matys, and Super8 & Tab.
“Crazy Love is inspired by a very beautiful human in my life who is blessed with a lot of gifts but also a lot of incurable struggles that many people don’t see or understand,” explains Zoë Johnston. “I adore him for many reasons, including the fact that he spends no time judging others and does not invest energy in worrying about what others think of him. Crazy Love makes the world so much more colorful!”
The English trio of Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness, and Paavo Siljamäki and Nottinghamshire native Zoë Johnston were nominated for a Grammy in 2016 with their collaboration “We’re All We Need”. Other collaborations of theirs include”You’ve Got To Go”, “Love Is Not Enough”, and “Alchemy”.
