REZZ – Can You See Me? (Album)

Prefacing the release of her latest album titled “Can You See Me?”, REZZ stated “This will be the heaviest album of mine. Typically I sprinkle some singable songs into my projects, but this one, nope. It’s just intended to be heavy n dark, industrial & rhythmic – collaborative af and def the nastiest proj of mine yet.” Last week, REZZ played an exclusive album set where she played the entire album live for attendees.

As haunting as it is hypnotizing, the album draws in listeners with its pounding basslines and supernatural sounds. The 10 track set from the Canadian DJ and producer was released by HypnoVizion, the record label she started in October 2022.

Created in Isabelle Rezazadeh’s home studio in Toronto, the collection consists of “Can You See Me?”, “Everywhere, Nowhere” with Blanke, “Black Ice” with Subtronics, “Cut Me Out” with Digital Ethos, and “The Descent” with INZO. Also included are “Open Ur Eye” with CYCLOPS, “Dysphora” with HOLLY, “Maleficent” with EDDIE, “Exorcism” with Kavari, and Isabelle’s version of “Infraliminal” by Rezzmau5.

“This album was by far the most fun I’ve had creating something maybe ever,” shares REZZ. “I tried to create a fuse between heavy bass music while also having industrial type elements mixed in. I also wanted this project to include tracks you can just loop while you work out or when you’re in the zone. I suppose I’m just compiling my favorite elements of bass music into one project. This project would be nothing without its collaborations with some of my favorite bass music producers in the game. I enjoyed this so much that I will probably continue to make more of it. CAN YOU SEE ME? is my favorite project I’ve ever released.”

Various songs from the album have been supported by Illenium, Alison Wonderland, NGHTMRE & SLANDER, Borne, and Nitti.

REZZ will be playing at at Beyond Wonderland 2024, which takes place this weekend Friday March 22 and Saturday March 23 at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino. She’ll also be performing at HARD Summer 2024, which takes place Saturday August 3 and Sunday August 4 at Hollywood Park next to Sofi Stadium in Inglewood.
