Biscits & TOBEHONEST – I Am The One (Original Mix)
English DJ and producer Biscits and Los Angeles based TOBEHONEST have linked up for the first time on a fiery tech house track called “I Am The One”. The single with bouncy beats and crisp percussion was released by Insomniac Records, which was formed originally in 2014 by Insomniac CEO Pasquale Rotella and later went under the Insomniac Music Group umbrella in 2018.
Biscits says that “TOBEHONEST and I have been sending stuff to each other for a while now. And when he sent me this particular topline, it only felt right to whip it into a collaboration. The results are really something else!”
“Biscits and I had always talked about doing a track together, so I decided to hand over a vocal topline that I’d been working on,” explains TOBEHONEST. “He loved the idea and was able to put some more of his own sauce of on it. Once I got it back, I finished the track up and we had ourselves a certified banger!”
Early supporters of the tune include Don Diablo, Oliver Heldens, Tiesto, Fedde Le Grand, MARTEN HØRGER, San Pacho, ACRAZE, Leftwing : Kody, and TCTS.
Other songs from Southampton native Luke Jones have been heard on Thrive Music, Defected Records, and REALM.
In May, Luke Jacobsen will be performing at EDC Las Vegas 2024 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Tracks from him have been released on imprints such as Night Service Only, Terminal Underground, and Repopulate Mars.
