4B & Viperactive – Throw It Back (Orignal Mix)

On March 30, 2024 by ocedm

Linking up for the first time on a hard hitting and bouncy track are 4B and Viperactive on “Throw It Back”. The song combines the Jersey club style of 4B with the trap elements of Viperactive for a tune that will crank the energy way up. The song was released through Los Angeles based record label Dim Mak, which was founded in 1996. Check out this video of the guys playing the collaboration live!

Label head Steve Aoki supported the tune on his radio show Aoki’s House 555.

“I made this original demo on a flight over to LA,” shares 4B. “For a week or two, I was stuck on it and decided to send it over to Viperactive for a potential collaboration. What he sent me back absolutely blew my mind. It’s the best of both worlds. I’m excited for it to be out!”

Viperactive says that “4B is someone I’ve always looked up to in music. I remember hearing Jack Ü play his remix of ‘Take U There’ way back in 2015 during their Clippers halftime performance, right around the time I started making electronic music. (I was 15 years old!)

He and I started chatting earlier this year and I’m super grateful he’s someone I can now call a friend. He shot me an idea for a track he’d been working on and the first version was such a banger, I took the next few days and did nothing but work on it. I’m so happy with what we ended up with, it really is a great blend of our two styles and I can’t wait to finally release it.”

New Jersey native Bobby McKeon has been behind tunes such as “Drum” with Danny Avila, “Whistle” with TEEZ, and “Bounce” with Mercer.

Other tracks of Arizona based Julian Gooden to check out include “Set Me Free”, “Angels Crest”, and his remix of “Rumble” by Skrillex, Fred again.., and Flowdan.
