Carlita – Time (Original Mix)
During her Tomorrowland 2023 set, Carlita closed out her set with an unreleased tune of hers called “Time”. Nine months later, we now have the official release of the highly sought after song from Counter Records, which is part of London based Ninja Tune. Hypnotizing melodies, soothing synths, and spellbinding vocals are used by Carlita on her latest track.
“Ninja Tune is such an iconic label for me,” shares Carlita. “I grew up listening to Coldcut, Amon Tobin and Bonobo. I love the diversity of sounds, the crossover and futuristic approach and I feel so honoured to be part of such an amazing artist roster”.
Pete Tong selected the track as the Essential New Tune on a recent episode of his radio show Global Dance HQ, where Carlita also played a guest mix. Danny Howard and Sarah Story have also supported the song.
Carla Frayman is a Turkish-Italian classical musician and multi-instrumentalist who plays the drums, cello, bass, and electric guitar. She will be playing at Coachella 2024 this weekend and next weekend at the Empire Polo Club in Indio.
