Lauren Mia – Frisson (Original Mix)
Last November, Lauren Mia released her debut album titled “RE:BIRTH” from her own record label in Ear Porn Music. For her first track of 2024, the Los Angeles native has now unveiled “Frisson” as the first single from her upcoming “Spectral Reverie” EP. The classically trained musician uses a driving bassline, progressive synths, and stuttering vocals in her latest single from the imprint she founded in 2018.
“Frisson is that sudden chill, the spark along your skin when awe or beauty strikes deep,” shares Lauren Mia. “It’s the goosebumps from a note in music or a scene in a story, where for a moment, you’re lifted beyond the everyday into a realm of pure feeling.”
Vintage Culture played the song on One World Radio 029, while Rebūke supported it on ERA 107.
Lauren Mia, who first started out in 2016, will be playing alongside SOEL presented by Set Underground at a location in Los Angles to be arranged on Friday May 3.
She has also played at festivals and clubs around the world, including Tomorrowland in Belgium, Burning Man in Black Rock Desert, Amsterdam Dance Event, The Steel Yard in London, The Concourse Project in Austin, Anjunadeep Open Air at The Brooklyn Mirage, and CRSSD Festival in San Diego.
