Charli XCX – Von Dutch (Skream and Benga Remix)
English dubstep pioneers Skream and Benga have joined forces once again for a throwback remix of “Von Dutch” By Charlie XCX. No, this isn’t 2003…which is the last time the two Croydon natives teamed up on a track in “The Judgement”. The bass heavy and grimy remix was released from Atlantic Records, which was launched in New York in 1947.
Zeds Dead supported the tune on Deadbeats Radio 319 with Danny Howard playing it on BBC Radio 1’s Dance Party.
Oliver Jones has been behind classics like “Rutten”, “Ice Cream Jelly Roll”, and “Exothermic Reaction”. He will be performing at Do LaB’s Lightning in a Bottle, which takes place Wednesday May 22 through Monday May 27 near Bakersfield in Kern County.
Old school favorites of mine from Benga Adejumo include songs such as “26 Basslines”, “Rock Music”, and “Any Steppers”.
