Since making his debut in 2020 and releasing his first track on 1605 a year later, Sam WOLFE seems to have found a home on the record label of UMEK. For his next song from the imprint, the Atlanta based DJ and producer has revealed a heart racing and exhilarating techno tune called “Govinda”from the record label that UMEK started in 2007 in Slovenia. “For every new track, I set out to infuse my aggressive energy within a different world,” explains Wolfe. “With ‘Govinda,’ I took this classic Hindu chant and created a soundscape around it that would hit on the dancefloor. This time, I went for a deeper kick that was smooth to listen to and focused on the groove more with a little psytrance feel that reminded me of my time spent in Goa.”
