Lake Hills – Picking Flowers (Original Mix)
Joining HARD Recs for the first time is Lake Hills with a smooth breakbeat tune called “Picking Flowers”. Los Angeles based artist Jacob Aldaco uses swirling synths and tight percussion combined with vocal loops in his latest track. The song was released through the imprint that was founded in 2018 and is now under Pasquale Rotella’s Insomniac Music Group.
Lake Hills exlplains that “‘Picking Flowers’ is an overcast of melancholic texture mixed with a combination of heavy electro-driven drums and percussion. The track fleshes out a consistent melody throughout its life, making it easy for one to wander and dissolve in its repetition. I want to say thank you to Hard Recs for giving this release a home. I’m a big fan of the recent releases and direction they’ve been heading in. There is something really special happening with electronic club music right now, you can feel it in the parties, people and music. Overall, I’m grateful to be a part of it.”
On Saturday May 11, Lake Hills will be playing at a show put on by HARD x Lights Down Low at Avalon in Hollywood, alongside Interplanetary Criminal INVT, Corey Sizemore b2b Richie Panic
He will also be performing at HARD Summer 2024 later this summer, which takes place Saturday August 3 and Sunday August 4 at Hollywood Park in Inglewood.
