If you need some bass in your face for tonight, look no further than Jon Casey’s “Gimme”! The South African DJ and producer uses thumping basslines and metallic synths combined with heavy beats in his new song. The tune was put out on Los Angeles based Bassrush Records, which was launched in 2016 and is under Pasquale Rotella’s Los Angeles based Insomniac Music Group.
Regarding his latest single, he says that “‘Gimme’ came into fruition when I was experimenting with vocals and trying to find a way to create a song that will get people moving on the dancefloor without being too complex. Something palatable.”
Jon Casey recently released his “Collision” EP with Pauline Herr, which includes tracks like “Toxic” and “Shift” featuring Reo Cragun. He will be performing at EDC Las Vegas 2024 this weekend, which takes place Friday May 17, Saturday May 18, and Sunday May 19 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
