Helang – Lovers Of The Unknown EP
Having previously released “Wise Devil” and “No One”, Helang completes her three track EP with “Black Angel”. Pumping basslines, heavy kicks, and acid synths are used in the techno set called “Lovers Of The Unknown” from the New York based DJ and producer. The captivating and intriguing EP was put out from Dauntless Records, which she launched in June 2023.
Regarding “Black Angel”, she says that “The name of this song and the lyrics in it speak for themselves. Life is about finding comfort in chaos and channeling our inner demons by redirecting them into something positive. As an artist I find inspiration in the good and bad, the beauty and also pain- in the end of the day, I still will be unapologetically me. “Black Angel” tops off the EP by delivering a boundary-pushing sonic soundscape to my audience.”
Helen Zhang has played alongside the likes of TESTPILOT (deadmau5), John Digweed, CamelPhat, Eli Brown, Joris Voorn, Innellea, and Mathame.
