HEYZ – Lost In The HEYZ EP
HEYZ is an artist I’ve heard a few tunes from over the past year or so who recently released a three track EP called “Lost In The HEYZ”. After taking a listen to the set full of heavy wubs and wobbles, the Denver based artist is definitely one I’m going to keep an eye on! The collection was put out on Bassrush Records, which Pasquale Rotella started in Los Angeles in 2016 and is part of Insomniac Music Group.
Included in the EP are “Coming Up (Like That)”, “Lost In The HEYZ” ft. ProbCause, and “Feel Right” featuring AK RENNY.

Greensboro, North Carolina native Mike Hayes also has some fire flips and remixes he has put out, including his versions of “Million Dollar Baby” by Tommy Richman, “Ocean Eyes” by Billie Eilish, “So Far” by Sully and Masta Plan.
Colin Grimm, a native of Chicago, has worked with GRiZ on a number of tracks like “Knucklepuck” and “Rainbow Brain” with Chrishira Perrier, as well as with AHEE on “Rainbow Funk”.
The alias of Mackenzie Crumbley, who is originally from Jacksonville, Florida, stands for Always Knew Renny and stems from a Kid Cudi quote in “always know who you are to progress in life.” The DJ, producer, and rapper has previously put out songs like “Fade Away” with Corrupt, “Hot Body”, and “See The Light” with Sacha Robotti and Dillon Nathaniel.
