MRAK – The Pledge EP

MRAK might not be a name you’re totally familiar with, but he is part of the Tale Of Us duo who started the melodic house and techno record label Afterlife. The Italian artist has a new six track EP with dark brooding melodies and captivating vocals out now called “The Pledge”. The collection was released on the imprint he and Anyma (also known as Matteo Milleri) launched in 2016 in Berlin.

Included in the set are “The World Is Yours” featuring braev, “The Process”, “Their Law” with David Lindmer, “Portal”, “The Flame featuring braev and Wasiu, and MRAK & Omnya’s remix of “Never Ends” by MRAK.

For the past year, Tale Of Us have played some of the tracks at their Afterlife events in Mexico, Colombia, Spain, France, Chile, Peru, Miami, and Los Angeles.

Under his MRAK alias, Carmine Conte has previously put out tunes like “Sperenza”, his “Manifesto” EP, and his “One” EP.

Canadian vocalist Pasquale D’Alessio has worked with Innellea and Colyn on “Downfall”, Massano on “Alone”, and ARTBAT and Shall Ocin on “Origin”.

David Lindmer, a London native now based in New York, has been behind songs such as “Chronicles”, “Mission Control”, and “Gravitas”.

Jimmy Wasiu Salami, a Canadian artist with Haitian and Nigerian roots, has collaborated with Apashe and Slumberjack on “Legend”, G-REX and Sully on “Smoke”, and Black Tiger Sex Machine and Kai Wachi on “Skull Machine”.

Israeli duo Ilan Shemi and Maor Tsemah are known for “Aria” with Argy, their remix of “The Point Of Living” by Giolì & Assia, and their remix with Argy of “Laura” by Monolink.
