Moontricks – Borrowed Time (Original Mix)
Combining elements of blues with a bit of their signature funk is Moontricks with “Borrowed Time”. The Canadian duo use soulful organ notes and intricate banjo chords combined with heartfelt vocals in their latest single. The tune was put out on Westwood Recordings, which was started in 2016 in Vancouver by Nick Middleton of The Funk Hunters duo.
Nathan Gurley (producer) and Sean Rodman (songwriter and vocals), who are from the Kootenay mountains of Western Canada, will be performing at Shambhala Music Festival later this month. The festival takes place Thursday July 25, Friday July 26, Saturday July 27, and Sunday July 28 on the Salmo River Ranch in the West Kootenay region of southern British Columbia.
