Arky Waters – We Ain’t Like Dem (Original Mix)
Fusing components of electronica, breaks, and techno is Arky Waters with his latest track called “We Ain’t Like Dem”. The tune serves as the first single from a new EP set to be released later this year. Once that bassline hits, it will be quite the challenge to keep your feet from moving and grooving! The song was put out on Mammal Sounds Records, which was launched in 2018 in Sydney.
“This is a little track I had sitting on my hard drive for a while,” shares Arky Waters. “I made it really quickly and I always wanted to take it further, but every time I pushed it in a different direction it always lost its essence in the process. I showed some friends, and they gave me the idea to just release it as I made it, super stripped back. Sometimes simple really is best.”
Earlier this year in April, Australian artist Thomson Phan released a four track EP titled “Bumper”.
