Uniting on a captivating melodic house and techno tune are Paradoks and Jono Stephenson with “Pulling Me To You” featuring Frýnn. The track with mesmerizing soundscapes, euphoric melodies, and dreamy vocals was put out on Nora En Pure’s Purified Records, which she started in 2019 in Switzerland.

“I was a big fan of Frynn’s vocals since hearing “Many Times” with Camelphat & Mathame,” shares Paradoks. “I reached out to her, and a few hours later she sent me a first demo of ‘Pulling Me to You.’ The vocals inspired me to create a melodic techno tune around it, but 19 versions and a few weeks later I still wasn’t convinced with the final result.

In March, I met Jono in LA and as we spoke music over lunch, I showed him the track and we decided to collaborate on it. Two weeks later we played together in Purified South Africa, so it was natural that we’d send it to Nora once finished.

We sat together on it for quite a few sessions and even restarted a couple of times, but it was worth the work and I’m thrilled with the final result: an emotionally moving and lyrically powerful track perfect for euphoric moments on the dancefloor or wherever you listen to it.”

Jono Stephenson says that “Kobe and I spoke for a while on how we should make a track that connects deeply within us as human beings – something that touches your emotions and takes you away from the world’s struggles for a moment.”

Last month, Nora En Pure opened up her radio show Purified Radio 411 with the tune and played it again on 414.

The cover art was captured by Daniel Nicholson, a professional underwater photographer located on the Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia.

Over the past year, Swiss/Belgian artist Kobe Motmans has released songs like “Heal”, “Sea of Infinity”, and a remix of “Poison” by MAGNUS.

Tomorrow on Sunday August 11, South African native Jono Stephenson will be playing Purified Los Angeles alongside Nora En Pure on the Expo Lawn of Exposition Park, presented by Framework. Also scheduled to perform are Justin Martin, Worakls, and Tim Enso.

Dutch singer and songwriter Fridolijn van Poll has previously worked with Anakim and Dark Heart on “Seconds Away”, Hugo Cantarra and Pakka on “Nothing Left To Say”, and Ali Bakgor and wrongside on “Say Something”.
