Cassian – Dun Dun EP
One of the most well received and sought after tracks in the sets of Cassian over the past seven months or so has been “Dun Dun”. The Australian DJ and producer has played it in his performances in Costa Rica, Peru, Las Vegas, Canada, Mexico, New York, Belgium, and more. The melodic house and techno tune from Sydney native Cassian Stewart-Kasimba has officially been released, along with another one in “Memento”. The songs were put out on Afterlife, the imprint started by Tale Of Us (Anyma and MRAK) in 2016.
“‘Dun Dun’ merges an uplifting melody with an undulating low end that pushes the track forward, supporting the “Dun Dun” vocal clip. ‘Memento’ is a bright, emotive composition with layered vocals producing a choir-esque effect and driving energy at its core.”
John Summit, Oliver Heldens, Armin van Buuren, Eric Prydz, Kream, Yotto, Layton Giordani, ACRAZE, Kevin de Vries, Joris Voorn, Brina Knauss, Korolova, Mahmut Orhan, Matys, Pete Tong, and Nora En Pure have supported tunes from the EP.
The Los Angeles based Grammy winner has previously released on RÜFÜS DU SOL’s Rose Avenue Records, Above & Beyond’s Anjunadeep, and Yotto’s Odd One Out.
