Andy C x Becky Hill – Indestructible (Extended Mix)

On September 19, 2024 by ocedm

A tune in the making for over 9 years, “Indestructible” by Andy C and Becky Hill has now officially been released. The two British artists team up on a drum and bass song with thumping basslines and tight drum work with Hill’s recognizable soulful vocals. The song was released through Polydor Records, which was originally founded in Germany in 1946 and is part of Universal Music Group.

Check out these videos of Andy C and Becky Hill performing the song live!

“It’s an honour to finally work on a tune with Becky,” says Andy Clarke. “Her incredible voice and lyrics convey the feeling of unity in our scene…. “How did we end up here, look how far we’ve come”, say it all… it sums up my relationship with DnB, how popular the genre is right now as well as how huge Becky’s career is. It’s just so magical. This has been a huge part of my set over the last 12 months and the amount of messages I get for it are insane! I’m so proud that Becky and I are finally seeing it released to the world!”

Becky Hill shares that “Andy C has always been a hero of mine! He was one of my guests for my podcast, The Art Of Rave, and is one of the drum & bass greats who was still on my hit list to work with. Well now, I finally have a tune with him and its massive. I wrote this record when I was 21 and Andy sent it back to me 9 years later! I’m very excited for this one to come out, especially with the one & only Executioner!!!”

The track has been played by Danny Howard, Charlie Hedges, Charlie Tee, Arielle Free, Mollie Collins, Jack Saunders, and BCee.

Andy C will be playing at Apocalypse: Zombieland 2024 in a back to back set with deadmau5, which takes place Friday November 29 and Saturday November 30 at the Queen Mary Waterfront in Long Beach.

Some old school favorites of mine from the Hornchurch native include “Workout”, his remix of “Get Free” by Major Lazer featuring Amber Coffman, and his remix of “Every Day” by Eric Prydz.

On Thursday November 7, Becky Hill will be performing a sold out show at The Music Box in San Diego. On Friday November 8 she will be performing at The Novo in Los Angeles.

The London based singer and songwriter is no stranger to collaborating with dnb artists, as she has previously worked with the likes of Chase & Status on “Disconnect”, Netsky on “Hold On”, and Wilkinson on “Here For You” and “Afterglow”.
