LSDREAM & CloZee – LSZEE (Album)
When I first heard that LSDREAM and CloZee were teaming up to produce an album earlier this year, I immediately put it out my list to check out once it was put out. After months of anticipation, we now have the official release of the 13 track set called “LSZEE” from the Los Angeles based DJ and producer and French artist. The bass heavy, weird and wonky collection was released by Odyzey Music, the record label started by CloZee in 2020.
The set from Sami Diament and Denver based Chloé Herry consists of “Empyre Pt. 1”, “Empyre Pt. 2”, “Nighthawk”, “French Dream”, “Wook Whistle”, “A.W.E.”, and “Chrysalis”. Also included are “ALTR”, “Mother Earth” featuring Taylr Renee, “Slay”, “Destiny” featuring Born I, “Cloud10”, and “Moonlight”.
In May, the duo shared that “Back in 2022 we did a studio trip in Joshua Tree to work on a few collabs. We tapped into the most abundant creative spark, and the music just started flowing. We kept writing more and more songs, exploring new ideas that inspired us, and having the best time, being in awe of each others creativity.
We always vibed with each other and did shows together. We did a B2B once before and loved being stage together, so as our song pile kept growing, we started dreaming about a world where we could create a project together, take all our songs, weave them into a live performance, and share our vision. THAT DREAM IS ABOUT TO UNFOLD!”
Songs from the album have been played in their sets at festivals like EDC Las Vegas, Electric Forest, Okeechobee Music Festival, and Envision Festival.
This weekend on Saturday October 5 and Sunday October 6, LSZEE will be playing at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado (two day passes are also available). The first show will see The Funk Hunters, K+Lab, and Common Creation in support, with jordnmoody, Skysia, and Lowcation performing on the second day.
