PARKERSTRANGE – Bad Girls EP
What do Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and The Lord Of The Rings have in common? They all feature the iconic Wilhelm scream sound effect that has been featured on numerous movies and TV shows. And how does that tie into PARKERSTRANGE’s new EP titled “Bad Girls”? Well, the set consists of “Bad Boy Bad Girl” and “Vergessen Sie Alles”, the latter of which features the Wilhelm scream and caught my attention right away!
The two tracks from the Ibiza based duo include 90s synths, raw energy, industrial drums, and heart pounding basslines. The EP was put out on Filth on Acid, which was started in Amsterdam in 2016 by Reinier Zonneveld.
Bonnie Strange and Selma Parker released their debut song “123” in March on Indira Paganotto’s record label Artcore. They have played at places like Amnesia in Ibiza, WECANDANCE in Belgium, and Sziget Festival in Hungary.
