RL Grime – Halloween XIII: The End (60 Minute Mix)
I’ve got good news and bad news for you today. The good news is that RL Grime released his highly anticipated Halloween XIII: The End mix about 30 minutes ago! The bad news is that it looks like it will be the last one from the Los Angeles based DJ and producer, according to his Instagram post which has a picture of a tombstone that reads “2012-2024”.
In the SoundCloud description of the mix, he says “13 years of terror. What a ride it’s been. Thank you for listening”. This years edition features an intro by none other than actor/musician Jack Black. As always, the 60 minute mix features a selection of originals, remixes, edits, and IDs from a variety of artists.
It seems fitting that Henry Steinway ends on the 13th installment of his mix series, which has seen appearances from the likes of Goosebumps author R.L. Stine, mixed martial arts ring announcer Bruce Buffer, voice actor Jake Foushee, astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, singer/producer T-Pain, Mayor of Flavortown Guy Fieri, Shaquille O’Neal (also known as DJ Diesel), skateboard legend Tony Hawk, singer/producer Pharrell, and more.
