Chamberlain – Fiora (Album)
When I first heard the lead single called “Dreams” from Chamberlain’s debut album, I could not wait to hear what else he was cooking up. Full of enough glitch and heavy bass to go around for seconds, this is one impressive collection from the Australian DJ and producer. The set was released on Austin based Gravitas Recordings, which was started in 2011.
The album consists of “Silhouettes”, “Inertia”, “Dreams”, “Ellie Enigma”, “What Of It”, a remix of “Ambitious Antithesis” by Benjamin Samuels, “Tarrion”, “I’m Back”, and “Path to Shangri-La” (VIP 2024).
Melbourne based artist John Chamberlain says that “This album is a journey through my world where music speaks louder than words. I make music because I love it—I’m addicted to it. When I write and share tunes, it’s like I’m speaking a language some people just get. They feel what I’m trying to say, and there’s nothing more satisfying than that.”
Chamberlain recently remixed “Flapjack” by Opiuo, which was included in the “A Shape of Sound Remixed” remix album.
