AMÉMÉ & Franc Fala – Wait For You (Original Mix)
Premiered during AMÉMÉ’s set at Amsterdam Dance Event at his One Tribe event at Shelter, “Wait For You” with Franc Fala has now been released. Benin native Hubert Sodogandji and Dutch artist Stijn Wind use captivating drum beats, warm guitar chords, and intriguing vocals in their first collaboration together. The song was put out on Dutch record label Armada Music, which was started in 2003 by Armin van Buuren, Maykel Piron, and David Lewis in Amsterdam.
The tune has seen support from CamelPhat, Hugel, BLOND:ISH, Marco Carola, THEMBA, Armin van Buuren, HANA, Charlie Lane, and Dennis Cartier.
Berlin based West African artist AMÉMÉ will be playing at Coachella 2025, which takes place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio on two consecutive weekends: Friday April 11, Saturday April 12, and Sunday April 13; followed by Friday April 18, Saturday April 19, and Sunday April 20.
In October, Franc Fala performed a 90 minute Afro house set on a houseboat as the sun set over the Amsterdam canals, where he played tracks from Riva Starr and Dennis Cruz, Bontan, and Adam Ten and Mita Gami.
