Cardio – A Prayer (Original Mix)
Cardio has been on a roll (or run, you could say) over the past six months as he won the 2024 Electric Forest Discovery Project contest (selected by LP Giobbi) where he performed at the festival in June, took over Insomniac Radio’s Projections Radio 060 in October, and now has his debut release on Discovery Project called “A Prayer”. The latest tech house single from Cardio features a seriously groovy bassline and tribal drum beats combined with vocal chants.
Cleveland native Benjamin Rosolowski is a self taught and classically trained musician who took up the cello, guitar, bass, drums, and piano growing up before dabbling in music production at the age of 14.
Regarding his alias, Cardio says that “Music was always a part of his life in some form until in 2018 his heart went into AFIB. He collapsed on the kitchen floor and after his fiance called 911 was rushed to the hospital. The next year, he would attend EDC Las Vegas and realize electronic music is his home. From this moment on, he donned the name Cardio and put all of his musical efforts into making electronic music that brings people together.”
Cardio has released songs like an 11 track album titled “Beautiful Static”, “Out Of My Mind”, and a remix of “Panic Room” by CamelPhat and AU/RA.
