Amal Nemer x Darcey – Tom’s Diner (Extended Mix)
Amal Nemer has enlisted the vocal talents of Darcey on their first collaboration together titled “Tom’s Diner”. As you would expect from the title, the track from the Miami based artist is a smooth tech house take of the original Suzanne Vega released in 1987 (most would be familiar with the 1990 DNA version). The song was released through Kevin McKay’s London based Glasgow Underground, which he started in 1997.
Born in Venezuela of Lebanese heritage, Amal Nemer will be playing at EDC Mexico 2025, which takes place Friday February 21 through Sunday February 23 at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City. Take a listen to her recently uploaded set from The Ground at Space Miami in November to get a feel for what’s to come!
Darcey’s vocals have been heard on “I Love You Always Forever” with Kevin McKay and Michael Kilkie, “Stan” with TWENTY SIX, and “Ain’t Me Without You” with Weiss.
