Hannah Wants – Hold Me ft. ARA (Extended Mix)
Returning to Defected Records once again is Hannah Wants with a heartfelt house tune called “Hold Me” featuring ARA. A close friend of Hannah’s, the stirring vocals of the West London native blend seamlessly with the soft piano chords and hypnotic melodies of the Birmingham based DJ and producer. The mesmerizing song was released on the London based record label that was launched in 1999 and is now ran by Wez Saunders.
Hannah Wants played the collaboration during her guest mix on Defected Radio Show 445 in early January. Ferreck Dawn, Arielle Free, Bob Sinclar, Charlie Hedges, Danny Howard, Dennis Cartier, Judge Jules, Lowdown, Pete Tong, and Sam Divine, have supported the track.
Near the end of last year, Hannah Smith announced the unfortunate re-diagnosis of cancer for the fourth time. She decided to take four months off of touring to focus on her recovery and sees stepping back as a chance to prioritize her health. We’re with you all the way, Hannah!
