GENESI & Meduza – Freak EP
In October 2023, Italian artists GENESI and Meduza first teamed up on a track called “Ecstasy”. Sixteen months later, we now have their next collaboration in a three song EP titled “Freak”. Consisting of the title track featuring Aya Anne, “Run”, and “Take It”, the guys use driving beats, synth stabs, and grooving melodies throughout the set. The collection was released through Hamburg, Germany based Diynamic Music, which was launched by Solomun and Adriano Trolio in 2006.
Songs from the EP have been played by Oliver Heldens, Armin van Buuren, Diplo, Steve Angello, Nicky Romero, Max Styler, Eli Brown, KSHMR, Lucas & Steve, Layton Giordani, Blasterjaxx, ACRAZE, Ferreck Dawn, Firebeatz, Skytech, Timmy Trumpet, Pete Tong, Richard Vission, Swanky Tunes, TCTS, Don Diablo, John Summit, Vintage Culture, Martin Garrix, Dom Dolla, Danny Avila, Kevin McKay, R3hab, and Lowdown.
Giovanni Bottai was previously known as Bottai a while back, putting out songs like “Uniform”, “K.I.T.T.” with Simon De Jano, and “Rewind” with Alex Gaudino.
Grammy nominated Milan natives Mattia Vitale, Luca De Gregorio, and Simone Giani will be performing at EDC Las Vegas, which takes place on Friday May 16, Saturday May 17, and Sunday May 18 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
The vocals of London based singer and songwriter Hollie Hammond have been heard on “Step Into The Rave” with Friction (under her shadxwgirl alias), “SOS” with 1111, and “Take It Slowly” with AZZR.
