Caravan Palace – March 22 & March 24 (House of Blues, San Diego & The Novo, Los Angeles)
If it seems like it’s been a while since Caravan Palace played in the United States, that’s because it’s been about about three years! That will soon change as the French group announced their North American Tour 2025 last fall with stops in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The recently started tour will see them perform in Southern California on Saturday March 22 at the House of Blues in San Diego and on Monday March 24 at The Novo in Los Angeles.
The group currently consists of full time members Charles Delaporte, Arnaud Vial, and Zoé Colotis, which expands when they play live on tour. The Paris based electro swing band first started out in 2008 and have been behind tracks such as their “<I°_°I>” album (which includes “Lone Digger”, “Dragons”, “Beatophone”, “Dramaphone”, and “Jolie Coquine”. From time to time, I still find myself listening to their 2018 60 minute mix full of some of their best work.
Last March, Caravan Palace released their fifth studio album titled “Gangbusters Melody Club”.
