If you’ve listened to a set from Mikey Lion over the past five years or so, chances are you’ve heard his track called “Breathe” featuring Saraya K. The San Diego based artist uses bouncy basslines and groovy beats that are blended together seamlessly with the soulful vocals of Saraya K. The vibrant house collaboration was released on Desert Hearts, the record label he started in 2014.

Mikey Lion played the song at Desert Hearts Festival in 2023 and 2024, with Fereck Dawn supporitng it on To The Break Of Dawn 146.

Mikey Leon is one of the minds behind Desert Hearts Festival, with the 2025 version taking place on Thursday July 3 through Monday July 7 at Playa Ponderosa near Flagstaff in Arizona.
