GRiZ – Gemini EP
In 2023, GRiZ announced he had decided to take put a pause on his career to focus on himself, with his last release being his “Ouroboros” EP that October. About a year and a half later, the Detroit native has broken his silence with another trippy four track EP titled “Gemini”. Consisting of “Found Your Love”, “Take Me Home” with Grabbitz, “2-step Nassau”, and “Til The Color Fades”, the four tracks are full of funk, soul, and saxophone that the DJ and producer is known for.
Grant Kwiecinski, who is now based in Denver, also announced the creation of his own music festival called Seven Stars, set to take place Friday October 10, Saturday October 11, and Sunday October 12 in Arlington, Virginia. The lineup includes the likes of AHEE, ALLEYCVT, Artifakts, Canabliss, Dr. Fresch, Effin, The Funk Hunters, INZO, J. Worra, Jantsen, Jon Casey, Level Up, Maddy O’Neal, Mary Droppinz, ProbCause, Ravenscoon, Steller, Subtronics, Tape B, Vyhara, Wooli, and more.
Earlier this year, Los Angeles based multi-instrumentalist, producer, and songwriter Nick Chiari released an 11 track album called “Big Epic Nothing”, featuring a collaboration with REZZ.
