HI-LO & Sarah de Warren – Born To Love (Original Mix)
After releasing “Inferno” with Kasablanca earlier this year in January, Oliver Heldens’ deep and dark alias HI-LO returns for his second single with Sarah de Warren called “Born To Love”. The Dutch DJ and producer and London based vocalist craft a heavy techno tune with hypnotic melodies, pulsing beats, and alluring vocals. The track was put out on HILOMATIK, the Amsterdam imprint Oliver Heldens launched in January 2023.
Weymouth native Sarah de Warren shares that “I was driving home after a show one night and thinking about how dance music has always felt so natural to me, like part of my DNA. I was making electronic music in my bedroom way before I was old enough to go to a rave or a club. It’s like I was born to make this music and play it for people who feel the same way… that’s why the dance community always feels like family. So, as I was driving, these lyrics just flowed off my tongue, and I voice-noted them and recorded them as soon as I got home. I’d been dying to collaborate with HI-LO, so I sent him the vocal, and he worked his magic. Now we have an absolute banger on our hands.”
