Cassian – SOS (Extended Mix)
Los Angeles based DJ and producer Cassian joins Experts Only for the first time with the release of a bouncy tune called “SOS”. The Grammy winner uses pulsing beats and driving basslines along with vocal chants in the track. The song was released on the the imprint launched by John Summit in 2022.
Cassian says that “Someone told me I look like the Easter Island statues, so at the start of the year, I went on a trip to check them out in the flesh. When I arrived, they started singing this song to me. I quickly recorded it and then was immediately possessed by a spirit who sampled it and produced it into ‘SOS’. So I guess it was a spiritual ghost producer.”

Australian artist Cassian Stewart-Kasimba has played his latest song during his takeover of John Summit’s Experts Only Radio 030 and at places like EDC Mexico and at Sphere in Las Vegas supporting Anyma’s The End Of Genesys residency earlier this year (where he served as Music Director and worked closely with Anyma to oversee the entire audio experience).
John Summit supported the tune on Experts Only Radio 029, with Oliver Heldens, Vintage Culture, Anyma, Tiesto, Joel Corry, KSHMR, Yotto, ACRAZE, Miss Monique, Korolova, Kevin de Vries, Laura van Dam, Rebūke, Andrew Rayel, BIJOU, Carly Wilford, Everything Always, Moguai, also playing it.
On Saturday June 28, Sydney native Cassian will be playing at El Pueblo Historical Monument in Los Angeles presented by Stranger Than; and Factory 93.
