Shakedown – At Night (Anyma x Layton Giordani Remix)
Back in 2002, Swiss duo Shakedown released their hit track “At Night” from London’s Defected Records. Since then, the song has seen remixes form the likes of Kid Crème, Purple Disco Machine, and Peggy Gou. Putting their techno twist on the tune are Italian-American Anyma and New York City based Layton Giordani, who use enigmatic basslines, brooding beats, and the iconic vocals. The song was put out by the reocrd label that was started in 1999 and now run by Wez Saunders.
Shakedown share that “It’s amazing to see how, 24 years after its original release, this record still resonates so strongly. Through the interest of new generations of producers, it keeps finding its way to new crowds. Thrilled to see Anyma & Layton’s version lighting up dancefloors everywhere.”

Anyma recently started his his eight week residency at [UNVRS] in Ibiza beginning Tuesday July 8 and running through August 26, with a heavy hitter lineup that includes Adriatique, Son of Son, Paul Kalkbrenner, Mind Against, Colyn b2b Innellea, Solomun, Layla Benitez, Amelie Lens, Recondite, Argy, Notre Dame, John Summit, Rebūke b2b SCRIPT, Dom Dolla, and Cassian b2b Kevin de Vries.
Over the past 16 months, Layton Giordani has put out songs like “Act Of God” featuring Linney and Sarah de Warren, “Better Than U Thought”, and “Paranoid”.
