Above & Beyond – Bigger Than All Of Us (Album)

On July 30, 2025 by ocedm

“Bigger Than All Of Us” is the title of Above & Beyond’s fifth studio album and their first in over seven years. The Grammy nominated trio consisting of Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness, and Paavo Siljamäki work with familiar voices like Zoë Johnston, Richard Bedford, Justine Suissa, and Opposite The Other, as well as first time collaborators in Malou and Victoria Horn. The 16 track collection was released through their record label Anjunabeats, which they launched in London in 2000.

Based in London (Grant and McGuinness) and Finland (Siljamäki), Above & Beyond have been putting out captivating and entrancing songs for over 25 years now. The guys say that “This album is us appreciating how amazing this thing we have is. It’s not about any of us individually. When we all work together to make something happen, something bigger happens.”

Siljamäki further iterates that “It’s not about fame, it’s about family. The Anjunafamily is the reason this record exists. When we all come together, something beautiful happens. That’s what this album is. It really is bigger than all of us.”

The album consists of “Stepping In”, “Start A Fire” featuring Richard Bedford, “Carry Me Home” with Zoë Johnston, “Everywhere I Go”, “When You Believe” with Victoria Horn, “Quicksand (Don’t Go)” with Zoë Johnston, “Bigger Than All Of Us” with Justine Suissa, and “Blood From A Stone” featuring Richard Bedford.

Also included are “Into The Light”, “Letting Go” with Malou, “Here Before” with Oliver Smith and Opposite The Other, “Sailing Off The End Of The World” featuring Richard Bedford, “Ride At Dawn” with Zoë Johnston, “Heartland” with Justine Suissa, “’Til I’m Home” featuring Richard Bedford, and “Lullaby” with Zoë Johnston.

Above & Beyond recently sat down for an interview with Zane Lowe on his Apple Music 1 show to “reflect on the meaning behind the new album and staying connected to their fanbase, address mental health and burnout, and share plans for tour and new music.”

If you missed out on seeing Above & Beyond live at Coachella this year, have no fear: the guys will be bringing their brand new stage design with immersive lighting and a custom built circular DJ booth to 13 North American cities in a couple months. Above & Beyond will be playing a sold out show on Thursday October 2 at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park in San Diego, alongside Gabriel & Dresden and HANA. $1 from every ticket during their tour will be shared with charity partners Child Mind Institute, Belong Center, and ClientEarth.
