Ninajirachi – I Love My Computer (Album)
Australian DJ and producer Ninajirachi has revealed her debut album titled “I Love My Computer” on NLV Records. She definitely takes us on a ride on the 12 track set, with one of my favorite parts being the songs with some 2010’s electro house elements. The impressive collection was released through Nina Las Vegas that was started in 2015 in Sydney.
The set consists of “London Song”, “iPod Touch”, “Fuck My Computer”, “CSIRAC”, “Delete”, and “ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ”. Also included are “All I Am”, “Infohazard”, “Battery Death”, “Sing Good”, “It’s You”, and “All At Once”.
Ninajirachi says that “I’ve spent more time with my computer than any one person, it helped me realise who I am and raised me for better or worse. I may never have discovered electronic music without it, because I’m from a small town in regional Australia, and it’s not really a place where that exists. It’s a big contrast actually” she shares. “All of my music is computer music, it’s my instrument, and I don’t know who I would be without it.”
Nina Wilson played “All I Am” during her set at EDC Las Vegas last year, with fellow Aussie Alison Wonderland supporting a number of the songs on her radio show Radio Wonderland. Judge Jules and Louis The Child have also played some of the tunes on their respective radio shows.
New South Wales native Ninajirachi will be playing at The Roxy in West Hollywood on Saturday September 6, presented by Brownies & Lemonade.
Back in June, Filipino-Australian artist Daine Wright released her five track “i want the light to swallow me whole” EP from Pack Records.
