The Chemical Brothers – Galvanize (Chris Lake Remix)
Fresh off of the release of his debut album “Chemistry” in July, Chris Lake shows no signs of slowing down with a catchy remix of the iconic track “Galvanize” by The Chemical Brothers. Featuring the uncredited vocals of Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest and released in 2004 as a single, the song won the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording in 2006. Oh, and the album it was on? “Push The Button” also won the Grammy Award for Best Electronic/Dance Album.
That being said, the London native does not hold back (pun intended) in his vibrant and upbeat version. A bouncy bassline and driving beats along with the recognizable vocals are used in the fresh take. The track was put out on Positiva Records, which was started in 1993 in London.
