Avision – Get Down EP
Appearing on REK’D for the first time is New Jersey based DJ and producer Avision with a two track EP in “Get Down”. Also consisting of “Papi”, the two tunes feature infectious grooves and strong piano chords combined with enigmatic beats and tight percussion. The set was released through the Berlin sublabel of Rekids, the former of which was started by Radio Slave in 2024.
Avision shares that “‘Get Down’ EP is simply down to the bones. I think it combines my New York flavor along with a nostalgic but also fresh feel. I am super excited to have this come out on REK’D as the brand overall is nothing but timeless, and A class music. I’ve been getting amazing reactions across the board on this ep while playing it out, so I amped for everyone to hear it.”
New York native Anthony Cardinale, who first started DJing at 12 years old and had his first residency at 15, has played at Ushuaïa Ibiza, Exchange in Los Angles, Hï Ibiza, Amnesia Ibiza, Spybar in Chicago, and Club Space in Miami this year.
