2025 New Years Eve Events in Southern California
It’s almost New Years Eve 2025 and if you’re still trying to make plans for the night, look no further! Whether it’s in Los Angeles, Orange County, or San Diego, there’s no shortage of events going on with a variety of DJs and genres. From festivals to clubs to secret locations announced just before the event, there’s sure to be something for you!

Time Nightclub, Costa Mesa: Dutch duo Showtek will be playing at Time Nightclub in Costa Mesa on Wednesday December 31.
Countdown NYE, NOS Events Center, Los Angeles: Insomniac’s Countdown NYE will take place on New Years Eve at the Los Angeles Convention Center across four stages from 7:00pm-5:00am.
The lineup includes the likes of Above & Beyond, AK SPORTS, AR/CO, Cera Khin, Clara Cuvé, Close Friends Only, Crankdat, Discovery Project, Gravagerz, Hedex, John Summit, Kevin de Vries, Kobosil, Madeon (DJ Set), Marie Nyx, MPH, OdyMel, Pryda, Ship Wrek, Shlømo, SLANDER, southstar, Starjunk 95, Sub Focus, and Wuki.
Exchange, Los Angeles: Newport Beach natives SLANDER will be taking over Exchange in Los Angeles on December 31.
Academy, Los Angeles: Academy in Los Angeles will be bringing in French artist Tchami on Tuesday December 30 and Detroit Mike Posner on Wednesday December 31.
Sound Nightclub, Los Angeles: Sound Nightclub in Los Angeles will once again have four days of New Years Eve shows leading up to the big night, with four day and single day passes available.
Friday December 26 will have Chicago native J. Worra and Saturday December 27 brings LA native Goldcap.
Dutch duo Tinlicker will play on Tuesday December 30 with LA mainstay AC Slater and his Night Bass brand on Wednesday December 31.
Avalon, Hollywood: German DJ and producer Markus Schulz will be performing a special open to close set at Avalon in Hollywood on New Years Eve, presented by Dreamstate.
Resolutions NYE/NYD, Union Station, Los Angeles: Presented by Minimal Effort, Underrated Presents and SBCLTR, the two day event will take place at Union Station in Los Angeles.
New Years Eve will see a three hour set from Bonobo with other artists from 8:00pm-2:00am.
New Years Day with Âme, Colyn, Jimi Jules, Marsh, and others will run from 4:00pm-12:00am.
Single day and two day general admission and VIP passes are available.
RE/FORM New Years Eve, TBA, Los Angeles: Ben Klock, Lindsey Herbert, BRÄLLE, and DNA will be playing at an undisclosed location on New Years Eve. Put on by 6AM Group, and Dirty Epic, and Synthetik Minds, the location will be emailed to ticket holders 2 hours before the event starts.
Subtract & Moon Kitty present Axis Novum NYD, TBA, Los Angeles: Subtract and Moon Kitty will be bringing their New Years Day event to an undisclosed open air venue just 30 minutes from Los Angeles.
The lineup includes Rodriguez Jr., Tim Green, Desert Dwellers, Evan Hatfield, BIG GUY little guy (Anton Tumas x Treavor Moontribe), Dela Moon, DJ Maggie.
Address and location will be sent to all ticket holders the morning of the event.
Midnight Lovers NYE, TBA, Los Angeles: Midnight Lovers will be bringing INVT, Ardalan, Life On Planets, Lubelski to a secret location in downtown Los Angeles on December 31. Also performing will be CHOíCE, Club Tularosa, Kana Hishiya, LAALLS, Planet Rolly, Tottie, and Xica Soul.
NYE Monster’s Ball, Clifton’s Republic, Los Angeles: Dating back to 1935, the multi level and historic Clifton’s Republic will be hosting Machinedrum and special guests on New Years Eve.
Bloom, San Diego: Bloom in San Diego will see Bolo, Edris Omar, and Dom Dior in the Main Room and Close Friends Only, Mauzer, and Daniela Gray in The Bassmnt, presented by Insomniac.
Nova, San Diego: The one and only RL Grime will be on the decks at Nova in San Diego for New Years Eve through Insomniac.
Proper NYE / NYD, Petco Park, San Diego: FNGRS CRSSD is pulling out all the stops for their two day Proper NYE / NYD across five stages at Petco Park in San Diego.
