Steve Aoki & KAAZE – Head Rush EP

No strangers to working together, Los Angeles based Steve Aoki and Swedish artist KAAZE link up once again for a three song EP called “Head Rush”. The festival ready set includes the title track with English artist Sarah de Warren, “Give It To Me” and “Self Control”, which have been played by the artists at places like Tomorrowland in Belgium, Untold Festival in Romania, Groove Cruise in Miami, Amsterdam Dance Event, and EDC Las Vegas. The energetic and vibrant set was released through Los Angeles based DIm Mak, which Steve Aoki started in 1996.
Steve Aoki says that “KAAZE and I have been talking about doing something together for years, and this EP finally captures that shared vision: high-energy, emotional, euphoric. Both ‘Head Rush’ and ‘Give It To Me’ take you straight to that festival moment where everything just lifts. It’s big-room energy with heart, exactly the kind of music that reminds me why I started doing this in the first place.”
“It’s always a blast to jump in the studio with Steve!” shares KAAZE. “When we started working on this EP, the goal was simple: make something that absolutely destroys the festival stage. Every drop, every melody, every vocal across all tracks is designed to make people lose themselves in the moment.”

The title track has been supported by W&W, R3hab, Lucas & Steve, Skytech, Jay Hardway, Albert Neve, Cuebrick, Kyros, Nathassia, and Shogun.
Some old school favoreites of mine from Grammy nominated DJ and producer Steve Aoki include “Warp 1.9” with The Bloody Beetroots, “Turbulence” with Laidback Luke featuring Lil Jon, “No Beef” with Afrojack featuring Miss Palmer, and “A Light That Never Comes” with Linkin Park.
Helsingborg native Mick Kastenholt has been behind tunes such as “Move” with Hardwell, his remix with Steve Aoki of “Toxic” by Britney Spears, and “Papi” featuring Alina Pozi.
Originally from Weymouth and now based in London, Sarah de Warren had a productive 2025 with songs like “Act Of God” with Layton Giordani and Linney, a remix with Culture Shock of “All The Things She Said” by t.a.T.u, and “On Repeat” with Nifra.
